Ram 1500

Nine trims are available for the Ram 1500: Tradesman, HFE, Lone Star, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. You can opt for a quad or crew cab with most trims. If you opt for the crew cab, you can choose between a short or long bed, while the quad cab comes with a long bed. While both cabs have a backseat and four doors, the crew cab adds a full-sized second-row giving backseat passengers plenty of room to stretch out. If you seek diesel, opt for the EcoDiesel 3.0-liter V-6 that generates 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The fourth engine is only available for the TRX trim and is a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 HEMI that will crank out a whopping 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. In addition, Ram is rumored to add the twin-turbo six-cylinder Hurricane engine sometime this year, so keep an eye out for that one.

Maximum towing and payload capacities are typically among the most essential aspects when buying a truck. The 3.6-liter V-6 will pull 7,730 pounds, while the diesel option jacks that to 12,650 pounds. The 5.7-liter HEMI allows you to pull 12,750 pounds, while the TRX's supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 can tow 8,100 pounds. Most of the trims will feature a payload capacity of around 2,000 pounds. The TRX is ready for heading off the beaten trail with its electronic locking rear differential, specialized lifted suspension with Bilstein adaptive dampers, upgraded brakes, performance exhaust system, and upgraded engine cooling.

Function and form greet you inside the cabin of the Ram 1500. Different trim levels offer access to different interior features, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and power-adjustable front seats.
